Palm Springs Tennis Club

Originally the attraction for the Hollywood's
elite, the Palm Springs Tennis Club was eventually sold off as a timeshare. With the timeshare frenzy of the eighties, more owners than not found out what a poor investment they've turned out to be. I bought mine in 1983 and have no regrets, they keep this place maintain beautifully. The location is perfect, up against the mountain at the end of a quiet cul- de-sac. There is plenty to do here, with two pools, several Jacuzzis, ping-pong, pool and tennis courts located at both ends of the hotel. They offer daily activities from crafts to social gatherings where owners enjoy free ice cream sundaes or partake in a BBQ by the pool. The rooms are nearly a home away from home, with kitchens equipped with ovens, stoves, microwaves, beaters and blenders. There are televisions in the livingroom and bedrooms, as well as a VCR. The front desk offers a catalog of complimentary movies to check out as well as board games. To make this place even more irresistible they've opened up this year, Spencer's, an impressive restaurant solely lit by candles at night, and breathtaking outdoor dining under starry lit trees, and a menu with nearly something for everyone. If you're a timeshare owner you can trade your week for a condo here, and if you're not, you can book a room, based on availability, but good luck.
