Hotels in Vegas keep outdoing each
other, and Mandalay Bay's new
addition is THE Hotel. I was
pleasantly surprised. Our suite was
unbelievably spacious. The bedroom
had a television and a sitting area, a
separate living room which had an
office desk at the far end, a wet bar
and two bathrooms! I've never seen
that in a one bedroom room before.
Our room was so reasonable with our
summer weekday rate $159 and
$169 a night. The hotel itself was
impressively modern, a bit on the
casino put us at ease. There are
many unique places to visit at
Mandalay. 55 Degrees has an elite
collection of fine wines to taste or
purchase as well as stemware
designed by artists from all over the
world. A stop in to Skinklinic will
leave one with fuller lips with
collagen injections, smoother skin
with microdermabrasion or a fuzz
free face with laser hair removal
treatments. Self improvement
doesn't end there, there is a 3,000
square foot fitness center as well as
the 30,000 square foot Spa
Mandalay, boasting a staggering list
of services. At Shark Reef there are
sharks to admire and sharks to pet,
as well as many other fascinating
undersea creatures. They also host
one of the biggest shows in town, the
"must see", Mamma Mia, as well as
the Sunday Gospel Brunch at the
House of Blues. With more than a
dozen restaurant, which are listed
below, guests can hardly want for
more:

But wait there's more! Mandalay Bay has 11-acres of the best
water play in town, complete with sandy beaches, waves and a
lazy river. The party continues pool side at Moorea Ultra Beach
Lounge, with a DJ and dancing, 10:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday
nights. Whew! With so much to see and do here, there never
seems to be enough time for it all.
