on weekends and when some excitement comes to town.

There's no denying that the Paris Hotel is a beautiful place.
Unfortunately we found the need to seek out other casinos to keep
us entertained.

Las Vegas is the ultimate theme park. Nearly
every hotel has one. At the Paris Hotel it's all
about France, with crepes, boulangeries and
the Eiffel Tower. The ground floor of the Paris
Hotel was surprisingly small. It was especially
noticeable in the casino with too few playing
tables, leaving us to wander over to Bally's to
play. Without much land to build on the Paris
Hotel cost a mere 917 million to build
compared to the 3 billion poured into the
Wynn Hotel. Though the Paris Hotel is quite
beautiful there wasn't much in the way of
shopping or even restaurants to keep our
attention.

Our room #1625P on the other hand had the
most spectacular view of the Las Vegas Strip
with the Aladdin and Bally's out one window
and the Eiffel Tower, Caesar's Palace and the
Bellagio out the other. Throughout the day
faint music from the Bellagio would draw our
attention out the window where many were
gathered to watch their water show. The
room was spacious with a sofa, a small office,
3 wardrobe closets, several other upholstered
chairs and a large marbled bathroom. Other
amenities included a stocked drink bar, a
salon quality hair dryer, and Internet access.

My complaint here was the water. The water
coming out of the shower smelled so bad, just
like perm solution used in beauty salons. It
was horrible, leaving my eyes so bloodshot it
was scary. I also had a hint of the same smell
nearing the swimming pool. It just can't be
healthy. We mentioned it at check-out, but
weren't taken too seriously. They are either
use to it or in denial. I was happy that room
service was 24 hours and we took advantage
of it every night, or I guess 4:00 a.m. would be
considered morning wouldn't it. Our July
weekday rate for room #1625P was $269 per
night, plus tax. I'm sure it's quite a bit more
