This is one of those very occasional places we come across
that leaves us anxious to come back, long before we've ever left. Detached from the restaurants and the lobby, the rooms looked promising, set against the foothills and surrounded by nature. The decor in our room #242 was right up our alley, in warm tones of gold, sage and terra cotta. The furnishings were simple without being cheap, with high end fabrics. I was most impressed with the bedding, finally somebody who's smart enough to know how important a good night sleep is for return business. The bedspread was amazing, heavy with stuffing and an underside soft as suede. The architecture alone was quaint with a high beamed ceiling and a laid back view of hole 31 from our balcony. I admit, I don't appreciate the great outdoors of a golf course like devoted golfer do, but there's no denying, this place is lovely. We felt so fortunate to have discovered it. Everything we need for a good time is right here. There are four lighted tennis courts, a heated swimming pool with whirlpool spa, a fully equipped fitness center, a 4-star golf course with a driving range, practice putting green and a fully stocked Pro shop offering personal instruction from a golf pro and most importantly, awesome food at two different restaurants; J.P.'s Lounge for casual dining, cocktails and NTN and fine dining at AquaTerra. Room service is also available from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. This whole resort is first rate quality. My only criticism of our first floor room was the noise from the unit above us, from their kids running and jumping around.
Check-in is 4:00 p.m. and check-out is at noon.
They offer AAA, Corporate and Government discounts.
P.S. Here's something good to know, they offer returning
guests the same $149 room for $99 a night, and I'll tell ya, for a place like this, it's one of the best deals I've run across in a long time.
