This is so fun! When we get a spare couple of hours
to unwind, we go play Trivia. Just ask for a player
box, input a player name with six letters or less, and
your ready to play. Funny thing is we never
considered ourselves good at trivia, but with such a
wide variety of multiple choice questions, you'd be
surprised how much you know! The exciting part is
that not only are you playing against the people
within your restaurant, but against players across
the nation, plus each restaurant is ranked by
averaging their players scores. Seeing your name in
the ranks can make this game addicting, but hey, we
have ourselves a drink or two and consider it a kind
of home schooling course! A little hint: In most
games you can change your answer as many times
as you want as long as you do it before they've given
you the last hint. I wish we had known that our first
few months of playing. Of course the longer you take
to answer the question right, the less points you get.
For a correct answer right off the bat, you get one
thousand points. If you answer wrong in the end you
get a minus two hundred and fifty points. The
average game has a 15 questions, which are varied,
or they have theme games about sports, music, or
TV trivia. There is also a game called "Wipeout"
which doesn't give you the option of changing your
answer at all. Every once in a while you run across a
different game, which keeps it interesting. It is such
a constructive way to spend a couple hours, and a
fun way to meet new people. If you can't get out you
can play along by playing NTN from your computer.
Anytime we go out of town we check the NTN website
to find out what restaurants have NTN, just in case
we get the urge! Unfortunately you don't know what
the place is like until you get there, so we've listed
below the places we've played.
