Laguna Shores

It's extremely hard nowadays to trade your timeshare for a place at the beach.
We were lucky to have gotten a room here at Laguna Shores. The rooms are
tiny, the largest being a one bedroom with a door for privacy. The other two
options are a one bedroom without a door or a studio containing a dining room
table, a sofa bed and a king size bed all in the same room . The bathroom had a
door with only a shower and the kitchenette was open to the rest of the room
with a stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave and oven. The decor in our
room was nothing special, but the big windows with ocean views is the main
attraction. Though we ended up with a studio, we had one of the best rooms for
the views, room #240. My other two choices would be room #243 right above
us, which had an even better view, but ours also had a view of the flower
garden. Room #233 was right across from ours with a brick patio, perfect to
watch people go by. I was especially impressed with the beautifully manicures
gardens with roses and various flowers in bloom. The swimming pool was small
and had a separate Jacuzzi. There was a laundry facility that guests could use
for free and a couple of vending machines for snacks and sodas. They had quite
a large selection of videos at the front desk that they loan out to guests.
Though there isn't any air conditioning, the nights we were there an open
window or two in the evenings made it comfortable. The place was directly
across the street from the beach, shops and restaurants. There is parking for
only one vehicle per room, otherwise any convenient parking had meters with a
4-hour maximum, so I don't suggest bringing more than one car. Sleeping four
in the studio was a bit cramped and the beds were not too comfortable, but
other than that, the prime location of this place makes it quite a desirable place
to trade for.
