This is as good as it gets in this area, unless you want to drive
to Riverside, Palm Springs or the Arrowhead Mountains. It's
centralized location on "Restaurant Row" is convenient with
restaurants such as Black Angus, Chili's, Olive Garden,
Fridays, Mimi's Cafe, El Torito, Guadalaharry's, Crabby Bobs
and the Outback Steakhouse are all within short walking
distance. The hotel's restaurant, Potiniere, can elevate your
trip if you happen to be here for their incomparable Sunday
Brunch
, while their stylish, Martini's Bar" is just the place to
kick off the night with a cocktail before going across the street
for a night of dancing. There's also a gym for those who can't
completely give in to that "relaxing" thing. Otherwise it's
pretty uneventful here. Their best room is still just ok, the
pool could use some tunes to drown out the traffic noise and
room service is far too expensive for what you get. It is a
popular place for locals to have a wedding reception, I should
know I had mine here, but for a getaway, I thought my $110 a
night could have been better spent somewhere else.
