Gospel Brunch

What a way to spend Sunday morning worship! We could all benefit
from a visit here. The brunch is the lure giving God an opportunity to
touch hearts through humor and song.

The set up is wood planked floors around the perimeter of one big room
set up with various offerings. Dining is a few steps down where long
folding tables and chairs are lined up a little too close to each other in
front of the stage. Brunch is offered in different sections. It's "down
South" cuisine with a main buffet offering breakfast fare with bacon,
sausage, scrambled eggs & lox, biscuits & gravy and fruit as well as an
array of salads, cold seafood, macaroni & cheese and black eyed peas.
Carved meats, made-to-order waffles and omelettes each have their
own stations. With a tower of flowing chocolate the grand finale along
with other little temptations.

For the first 45 minutes or so guests fill their plates and enjoy the meal,
returning time and again for their favorites such as mine, the creamed
spinach. Then it's time to let it all settle while watching the show. A
soulful woman with a little help from her back up singers and a rocking
band sings people right out of their chairs injecting her hearts thoughts
into humorous moments. She had believers shouting "Amen" and non-
believers a witness to some strange phenomenon. A testament to the
power of this show was from my two boys who'd gone through the Star
Trek Experience, Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay and even indoor sky
diving and said the Gospel Brunch was their favorite of all!

For this brief time everyone from every ethnic background are
brothers and sisters. It was nice to see that in the City of Sin there are
people out there that realize what a privilege it is to have the freedom
to practice our religious beliefs, whatever they may be, and are even
willing to pay for it.

There are two show times every Sunday: 10:00 A.M. & 1:00 P.M. Prices:
$49.95 for adults and $45 for children under 11 years old.
