Gameworks
How hard is it to find food that is equal to the fun? No need to pick
between the two at Gameworks. Come for the food and have a lot of fun.

The main floor has the majority of games with simulators and arcade
style games as well as a small open bar with additional tables and chairs.
The upper floor has billiards, video bowling and some of the old time video
games and a section of tables overlooking the first floor. Just a couple of
steps up is a small secluded bar for those 21 and older.

The menu offers a variety of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, entrees and
pizzas. On a previous trip we enjoyed several things that are no longer on
the menu as well as their fall-of-the-bone baby back ribs which now
comes in a Rib Basket ($13.99) rather than a bucket.

On this recent trip I started with a Strawberry Lemon Drop ($6.99) which
was more sweet with strawberry than tangy. More suited for me was the
South Beach Citrus Martinis($6.99) made with Absolute Mandarin,
Absolute Citron, Contreau and lemon.

The Sliders ($6.99) were a great start with 6 burgers on sweet Hawaiian
rolls with cheese and sauteed onions. Who couldn't like these. Kids can
order theirs without the onions. We looked forward to the pizzas again
and their combinations made choosing hard. We settled on their
Pepperoni & Mushroom Pizza ($7.99) which was additionally topped with
roasted garlic and fresh basil, but when it arrived it didn't have the
garnishes which is what had been the deciding factor for us. We brought it
to our waitress, Sonia's, attention. She begged to differ, saying that it
didn't come with the roasted garlic or basil. To prove our point we handed
her the menu and after reading it exactly the way we'd said she
commented saying, "Well I don't think people think that's really what
they're going to get." Well we did, so we sent it back for the details, and
boy was it ever good.

The Philly Steak Pizza ($7.99) was another hit with onions, red and green
bell peppers, mushrooms, jack, cheddar, provelone and mozzarella
cheeses and their A-1 cream cheese spread. Their pizzas are made on the
thin side with such a flavorful and tender crust. Their excellent Caesar
Salad
paired well with everything.

Other menu choices included a California Chicken Cobb ($8.99), Classic
Chicken Fettuccini
($10.99) with sun dried tomatoes 12-ounce USDA
Prime Rib Eye Steak ($17.99), Turkey Ranch & Swiss Ranch Wrap ($7.99)
and the Double Decker Challenge ($11.99), finish this one pound burger
and they'll give you a $10 game play card.
