Dana Point Marina Inn

Ideally situated at the Dana Point Harbor,
the Dana Point Marina Inn had everything we needed just steps away. We had no idea we were directly adjacent to the Dana Wharf. We were all excited. From the moment we arrived it was a pleasure. The lobby was updated and clean and the receptionist friendly. On the premises was a fitness center and a heated pool. The decor in our room wasn't anything fancy, with a cheap nylon bedspreads, it was spacious and had the necessities; a small refrigerator, coffee pot, hair dryer and air conditioning. We also were welcome to use the heated pool and fitness center, and though there wasn't a restaurant on the premises there were more than a dozen to choose from at the Dana Point Harbor right next door. My only regret was not to have paid the extra $40 to get a Harbor view room as our room #357 had no view. As a matter of fact we had to leave our curtains shut since it faced a window in the main hallway where anyone walking by could look right in. The price is right though with our room rate only $89 during the week and $155 on weekends. The nicer Harbor view room is $129 on weekdays and $179 on weekends. This includes a continental breakfast from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Keep in mind this is one of the only places in town that I could find a place that sleeps 5 to a room. Another success!
