Built in 1976, Castle Park is still an Inland
Empire favorite hang-out. I was pleasantly surprised how well it's been maintained. The place was clean, rides updated, and the well established landscaping was kept tidy. There is so much to do here. The miniature golf course, which can be seen from the freeway, has been the main attraction for years. Their four themed championship 18-hole courses are designed for different skill levels; course 1 Masters, course 2 Novice, course 3 advanced and course for is for intermediate players. The Big Top is the gathering place for lunch and dinner, offering burgers, pizza, chicken strips and a salad bar, it also plays host to team meetings, banquets and birthday parties, with a stage for occasional entertainment. The arcade has over 200 games and is split into three levels; the main level has ticket redemption games and a snack bar serving hot dogs and pretzels, nachos and ice cream, the Pit has more video games while the Ghost Blasters Ride is on the lower level. The ride park, added in 1985, has continually expanded to over 30 rides and attractions. Thrill rides are grouped together and includes a Log Ride, Ferris Wheel, coasters and plenty more. Rides for the little ones include two trains, airplanes and motorcycles and a 1905 Denzel Carousel which is enjoyed by everyone. The Midway Carnival Games is the perfect ending to a fun day, and left our kids skipping happily to the car with large stuffed dolphins. Admission into the park is free. Miniature golf and rides tickets can be purchased separately or a combination day pass for a round of golf and unlimited rides, saves a nominal amount, and is priced at $22 & $17 (for those 48"), or buy an annual pass for $50. Ten Buck Tuesdays & Thursdays is quite the bargain offering unlimited golf and video games (which does not include games of skill such as air hockey or ticket redemption games) for only $10. Castle Park, voted "Favorite Family Attraction in the Inland Empire", has my vote too.
